Mixing It Up

Going through the backlog of new art I have waiting on my hard drive. I've just been uploading pieces every now and then because I don't wanna spam people's inboxes. As this was the next one in line, I figured I could make this a Beyblade day |D So be expecting another Beyblade piece later on!

Michael and Antonia are a couple that really mean a lot to me. Antonia was the first OC I ever created, back when I was a diddy 13-year-old, and they were the first pairing I put together. They were also the first couple I wrote about (badly) and then when I started getting into the whole fandom thing here on dA all those years ago, I was deep into Beyblade once again and these were the guys were the first ones to get me into the whole OCxCanon thing. Ahh looking back now xD Not to mention that same Beyblade fandom is what helped me get to know two of my closest friends on the site <3

This piece is based around a part from my story. After they get past the whole, y'know, hating each other with the fire of a thousand suns thing, they realise they have quite a bit in common as they're both sport nuts xD It's not just all about baseball with these guys either. Antonia's super into a variety of sports, but the one she's never been too great at is basketball (let's face it; her lack of height is a distinct disadvantage) so Michael helps her to practice. Y'know, when they're not busy fooling around |D

Strike Back! -CHAP.01--BEYBLADE-   "Strike one!" Antonia called. "Maybe I need to find a better opponent."
   "Yeah right, I'm just warming up," insisted Edward, fetching the baseball he'd missed and tossing it back over to her.
   Antonia caught it neatly in her glove. "Sure you are. Come on, let's go again."
   She threw the next one too wide and it passed the foul line. Edward only bothered to swing half-heartedly, not even coming close to hitting it. "Foul ball!"
   "Damn," Antonia grumbled to herself. She couldn't even remember the last time she'd thrown a foul ball. Not for a good year at least.
   Edward threw the ball back a second time. "You're not losing your touch, are you Ant? You shouldn't let my good looks distract you so much."
   "And you shouldn't let your big head distract you," said Antonia, throwing the ball whilst he wasn't paying attention. He tried to swing for it but he wasn't fast e
