Sana Kimura - FB OC

Set up another poll to see which OC ref people most wanted to see next, since I'd come up with even more character ideas (sorry if you're sick of seeing these polls, I can't stop creating!) Most popular result on the latest one was my Fruits Basket OC!

Again, this is another character I've had profiled for aaages and just haven't got round to drawing -shot- She's based into the anime storyline because I haven't read the manga (feel the need to establish that since I hear it's very different). Here's some infooo...


Name: Sana Kimura.
Nicknames: San.
Age: 25.
Hair colour: Black.
Eye colour: Brown.
Sexuality: Bisexual.
Occupation: Cleaner.
Personality: She's extremely immature for her age and gets on better with younger people. Because she's so childish she can also be quite petty and will sulk if she doesn't get her own way. She's very chatty and will talk to absolutely anyone. She's also highly romantic and when it comes to guys she acts like a lovestruck teenage girl. Everyone always think she’s a lot younger than she actually is. She’s afraid of dogs but she loves cats. She loves doing housework and always plays her music really loud so that she can dance and sing along while she's working. She’s ridiculously OCD – though not many people realise this – which is one of the reasons she developed her carefree image. She makes people believe she doesn’t have a care in the world when her problem is actually that she cares too much about everything. In particular she’s very finicky about tidiness, making lists and things being in even numbers. She has a fear of vomit and has never drank alcohol in case it makes her throw up. She still likes going to bars – she drinks non-alcoholic cocktails and she always collects coasters when she visits new places. Despite her naivety and childish nature she is actually quite intelligent and has a fairly wide general knowledge.
Likes: J-Rock, K-Pop, Visual Kei, cats, even numbers, doing housework, loud music, boys, socialising, dancing, Death Kitty, pirates, making Kyo turn into a cat, cosplaying, coasters, non-alcoholic cocktails.
Dislikes: Dogs, odd numbers, serious people, not getting her own way, being told to grow up, rainy days, having to be quiet, things being dirty or untidy, the idea of puking, cooking.
Background: Sana had a fairly average childhood and came from a respectable family. She was the oddball of the family with her childish nature and unique fashion sense, especially compared to her serious older brother Takenaga. Takenaga married a woman named Kana Sohma, bringing him into the Sohma family. He managed to get Sana a job as a cleaner at a company owned by an important member of the Sohma family. Whilst working there Sana became friends with her colleague Tohru and the boss’s son Momiji. Tohru invites her home one evening and she ends up becoming good friends with several of the Zodiac members. She learns about the family curse after accidentally turning Kyo into a cat.
Family: Mother – Yukata Kamio, father – Morii Kimura, older brother – Takenaga Kimura (28), sister-in-law – Kana Sohma.
Love Interest: Shigure Sohma.

  "Tohru!"
  Tohru turned just as Momiji Sohma came barrelling through the double doors, his head flicking from side to side as he surveyed the room. Without any real explanation, he just winked at her and put a slender finger to his lips.
  "Sshhh, don't tell!"
  He then proceeded to climbing into the cleaning cupboard in the corner, shutting the door behind him. Tohru watched in bemusement. Um... okay? Just what exactly had she missed whilst she'd been getting rid of the trash bags?
  She found her answer soon enough though as the doors burst open a second time. "Ready or not, here I come!"
  A girl with buoyantly curly black hair and a tiny beauty spot below one of her brown eyes came through the doors just as quickly as Momiji had. She was wearing an apron over an off-the-shoulder stripy top and low-riding jeans, with a brightly-coloured bandana tied into her hair. There was a pink feather duster in her hand that she obviously wasn't using.
